Kerr Street Mission offers welcoming groups and programs for moms, dads, and seniors—creating opportunities for connection, encouragement, support, and community through every stage of life.
Community Support
KSM helps individuals and families connect with community support programs and resources that can meet their needs. We offer guidance, referrals, and encouragement to help people access the right services, build supports, and strengthen overall well-being.
Neighbour Care Network
The Neighbour Care Network (NCN), led by KSM and local churches, equips trained volunteers to support neighbours in need. It provides mentorship, connects resources, and works toward lasting stability through a “hand up” approach focused on hope and practical solutions.
Mental Health and Wellness
Encouragement, Healing and Hope
KSM’s Mental Health and Wellness program supports individuals and families by providing meaningful tools for resilience, healthy coping, personal growth, and connection with others. Through supportive groups, educational workshops, and community-based learning opportunities, participants are encouraged to better understand mental health, manage stress, and build confidence in everyday life.
The program creates a welcoming and compassionate environment where people can share experiences, find encouragement, and access practical support. By fostering connection, reducing isolation, and strengthening emotional well-being, KSM helps individuals and families move toward healthier, more hopeful, and more connected lives within a caring community.

Financial Wellness
Our Financial Wellness program helps individuals and families build confidence with money through budgeting support, practical tools, and education. It equips participants to organize finances, manage expenses, and work toward greater stability and financial peace.
Christmas Wonders & Beyond
Christmas Wonders helps families celebrate the season with joy and hope by providing gift cards, toys, and holiday support to parents and children who may be facing financial hardship during Christmas.

The mission of Kerr Street Mission is to provide care and a community of support for those in Oakville who are struggling and in need, improving their current and future well-being.
Becoming a registered member of KSM connects individuals and families to that community of care and support. Members gain access to practical programs designed to meet everyday needs and build stability, including our Food Market, Choose Fresh, Community Meals, Kids’ Clubs, Youth Connected, Summer Camp, and Christmas Wonders.
Registration also helps us better understand each family’s situation so we can offer more meaningful support. Members are welcomed into a safe, respectful environment where relationships can grow, needs can be met, and encouragement is available through every season of life, helping build hope, dignity, and lasting connection.
