Terms and Conditions

By signing up for the Fresh Food Box for Halton Program of Kerr Street Mission you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”). Any other services or programs which are added to the current existing program shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. Kerr Street Mission reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service through sending direct email communication. You are advised to keep these emails as a record as these updates and changes may directly impact you and the nature of your participation.

You must read, agree with, and accept all the terms and conditions contained in this Terms of Service agreement before being registered for the Fresh Food Box Program.

1. Account Terms

a) To participate in this program, you must submit orders through the online form and provide payment to KSM by the 21st day of every month to ensure delivery of your Fresh Food Box order.

b) You acknowledge that Kerr Street Mission will use the email address and telephone number you provide as the primary methods for communication.

c) Any breach or violation of any term in the Terms of Service as determined by the sole discretion of Kerr Street Mission may result in the removal of your participation in the Fresh Food Box Program.

2. Program Participation

a) The site coordinator signing up for the service will be responsible for upholding the Terms of Service and held accountable for any breach or violation.

b) If you are going to cancel your Fresh Food Box order please inform KSM no later than the 18th of the month via email to the Fresh Food Box Project Coordinator.

c) Site Coordinators are responsible for receiving fresh food boxes and the distribution to clients. Kerr Street Mission takes no responsibility and offers no refunds for any missed pick-ups.

d) Any errors while placing orders online will be the responsibility of the site coordinator. Please ensure to review all orders prior to submitting as Kerr Street Mission does not take responsibility.

e) Site coordinators and volunteers participating in the program are to respect and uphold Kerr Street Mission’s mission to:

i) Provide care and a community of support for those that are struggling in need, improving their current and future well-being.

f) Site coordinators and volunteers participating in the program are to respect and abide by the actionable values of Kerr Street Mission, a faith-based organization:

i) Having love and compassion for others.

ii) Believing that every person is to be loved and valued.

iii) Working with people of all faiths, without discriminating, proselytizing, or condition.

3. Payment of Fees

a) Payment options to Kerr Street Mission by site coordinators for orders will be done through cash, cheque, wire transfer, or credit card. An MOU (memorandum, of understanding) will be required to ensure a fixed understanding of the method of payment received monthly. Exceptions and
changes to payment will be granted In extreme cases, KSM will need to be advised immediately to be approved.

b) Orders and payment are to be submitted by the 21st of each month. Failure to do so will result in participation in the Fresh Food Box program that month.

c) Kerr Street Mission is not responsible for any bank charges incurred due to insufficient funds, overcharge fees, or any other fees that may apply.

d) Kerr Street Mission does not provide refunds due to the tight timelines required for fresh food purchasing.

4. Cancellation and Termination

a) Cancellation or changes to orders need to be made by the 18th of the month. It is the coordinators responsibility to contact Wajma Weera prior to the charge taking place.
