PreNatal Program: Wednesdays 10am – 12:30 pm

A team from Halton Region Health Department including a Public Health Nurse, Dietitian and other staff provide Prenatal Education and support to expectant mothers as well as mothers with infants 0-6months.  Families who are eligible may use the Food Bank from 10-10:45am.  Program runs from11am-12:30pm for most of the year and includes a nutritious lunch and discussion group.

Kids and Me Program: Thursdays 9:30am – 11:00am
A program designed for preschoolers 6 months to school age and their parent(s), this free program is held at 485 Kerr Street every Thursday morning during the school year. Parents are encouraged to engage their children in play, reading and arts and crafts, as well as receive current health information and community resources. This is a collaborative program involving staff from Halton Region Children's Services, Baby and Parent team, Ontario Early Years, Ontario Public Library, and is hosted by KSM. The program runs from 9:30am – 11am and eligible families may use the Food Bank from 9:30 am – 10:15 am.

Oakville Public Library Program
In partnership with Oakville Public Library's “Friends of the Library” a fully furnished Book Nook area has been set up in the KSM Children’s Room where books are available for children of all ages.
