Executive Director
Gary O'Neill- We are pleased to announce that Gary O’Neill will assume the position of Executive Director, effective January 7, 2013. Gary, his wife Lynn, children Isaac, Abby and Zoe are long-time residents of Oakville and have been active participants within the community in church, amateur sports and schools. Gary brings a strong business background to KSM. He has been privileged to work for Fortune 500 companies renowned for their people development. He is an experienced leader whose passion for helping people has led him to positions focused on performance improvement, training and development, and leadership excellence. His strategic thinking, creativity and practical insights have been keys to his success in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
Finance Manager
Manonita Das, M.Comm, CCP - Manonita has an extensive background in organizational finance and has worked in transactions as a portfolio administrator with Fortune 100 companies. Manonita brings a diverse set of talents to KSM including her designation as an Oracle Certified Professional. Manonita has been involved in the not for profit sector for many years as a volunteer with the Leprosy Mission. Manonita is married to Sunil Kumar and has two wonderful daughters.
Volunteer Coordinator
Alisa Ward - Alisa completed her HBSc. in Psychology in 2010, and came to Kerr Street as the Volunteer Coordinator for our Day Camp. Alisa has years of experience working with volunteers in various organizations, including Camp Mini Yo We and The Meeting House. She is passionate about providing encouragement and support to the volunteers, and serving alongside them. Alisa lives in Milton with her husband Brandon.
Community Services Coordinator
Cheri Brown B.Sc. OT - Cheri joined KSM several years ago after a career in Occupational Therapy. In her role at KSM Cheri offers support to clients by connecting them with community resources to assist in finding solutions for the complex and difficult problems that many face. Cheri is married to Gord and has 2 adult children.
Children’s Program Coordinator
Michelle Lockhart - Michelle joined the KSM team in 2006, as part of the Children’s Program. After attending Brock University for Child Studies, Michelle worked in early child care for 15 years, operating her own business for 8 of those years. At KSM she has worked in both the children’s and youth program and loves spending her summers at Kerr Street Day Camp where she has been Camp Director since 2008.
Youth Program Coordinator
Tim Moore - Tim has been equipped by many years of experience working and volunteering with various Christian ministries, churches, youth and not for profit organizations. He is a talented musician and brings a maturity to his role at Kerr Street focusing on mentoring and leadership. Tim is also a Pastor and church planter currently serving with The Sanctuary @ Kerr Village. He has the support of his wife and is the happy father of 2 young children.
Educational Assistant
Kirsten St. Germain - Kirsten began her KSM career in 2010 working at Kerr Street Day Camp. Following her graduation from the Educational Assistant program at Sheridan College, Kirsten accepted the role of Educational Assistant at KSM. She has a passion for working with children which is demonstrated through her day to day work. Kirsten currently resides in Oakville with her four children.

Safia Zane - Safia is a wonderful addition to the After-School team. Safia comes to Kerr Street Ministries with ECE qualifications.
Front Line Intake Worker
Nadine Williams Brown - Nadine completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies in May 2010. She joined KSM in October 2010 and brings to the team her wealth of knowledge and experience in Customer Service having worked in that area for a utility company for over 15 years. Nadine is married to Kwesi and has a beautiful daughter and a newborn son.
Evening Front Line Intake Worker
Wenda Bourgeois – Wenda joined KSM in Sept 2010 as evening receptionist. Previously, she worked for 20 years at Atomic Energy of Canada in Mississauga joining the Communications group in 1998 as Communications Coordinator, providing coordination and administrative until April 2009. Her administrative expertise is an essential piece to the KSM team.
Evening Front Line Intake Worker
Lynda MacIver - Lynda opted for a change in career after 25 years in the corporate world to follow her passion of helping others. She returned to school to study social work and received her diploma, with honours, as a Community Service Worker. Lynda especially enjoys being KSM's Community Meal Coordinator and says it is an honour to work with and recruit such kind, wonderful volunteer meal providers.
