Kerr Street Ministries (KSM) helps and gives hope to Oakville's most vulnerable citizens. Serving over 5,000 people, KSM provides holistic support and care particularly for children and youth and low income families.

MISSION STATEMENT
Following in the example of Jesus Christ, KSM is called to transform lives by serving people in Oakville living in economic, social and spiritual poverty. As a charitable Christian organization we acknowledge that every person is created in the image of God and has inherent value and dignity. We are committed to providing relief for the present and hope for the future.

Executive Director

Benjamin Ward, MBA - Ben joined KSM in July 2009 with previous experience in the international not for profit sector and private business.  Ben is married to Rebecca and is the proud father of Garrett.

Controller

Meeseong Veitch, CA - Meeseong joined KSM in June 2010 with a background in tax and audit compliance.  Meeseong is married to Michael and has three teenage sons.

Finance Manager

Manonita Das,  M.Comm, CCP - Manonita has an extensive background in organizational finance and has worked in transactions as a portfolio administrator with Fortune 100 companies.  Manonita brings a diverse set of talents to KSM including her designation as an Oracle Certified Professional.  Manonita has been involved in the not for profit sector for many years as a volunteer with the Leprosy Mission.  Manonita is married to Sunil Kumar and has two wonderful daughters.

Development Officer

Jodi Yeilding, B. Comm. - Jodi has a professional background of 13 years in marketing and sales with IBM, Tucows, SickKids Foundation and UNICEF.   Jodi is an expert at coordinating fundraising plans and implementing marketing strategies and events.  Jodi has insipired thousands of children to take action by helping other children around the world and in their own communities.  Jodi has two energetic sons, Jack and Christopher. 

Office Manager

Agnes Unger Stassen, BA - Agnes is a longtime employee of KSM and came to the organization after retiring from a successful career as an administrator in the financial sector on Bay Street.  Agnes uses her organizational talents to keep the ship straight and running smoothly at KSM on a day to day basis.  Agnes is married to her husband of 15 years Bill.

Nathalie Pignatiello, BA - Nathalie brings a wealth of experience as a business research professional and account administrator.  Nathalie was looking for a change of pace in life and looked to exit the corporate environment in Toronto, finding a balance of work and life in her new position at KSM.  Nathalie is married to Tony and has two young children.

Kelly Reese Northup M.Sc. - Kelly has an extensive background in health administration and uses her talents to coordinate and engage volunteers in the Kerr Street Market and the coordination of up to 45 volunteers at a time to run the food bank and the Longo's Kitchen.  Kelly is married to Mike and has five children.

Community Services Coordinator

Cheri Brown B.Sc. OT - Cheri joined KSM seven years ago after a career in Occupational Therapy.  Cheri meets with clients on a one on one and group basis and is able to assist in helping to find solutions for the complex and difficult problems that the circumstances of life sometimes create.   Cheri is married to Gordon.
