Current Volunteer Opportunities

Family Programs

We require compassionate volunteers to assist with family programs, including the food bank and community meals.

There are currently positions available in our store on Thursday evenings 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Children's Program: Kerr Street After School Program (KSAP)

 KSAP takes place every day of the week from 2:45 PM until 6:00 PM. Volunteers are needed to be positive role models to the children. Opportunities are available for volunteers to program games and special events.

Areas of need include: Monday - Friday 1:30 - 4pm: Snack preparation & clean up.

Youth Programs

Volunteers are needed to come and hang out with our youth on a regular basis. We are seeking volunteers to facilitate and participate in our sports programs, as well as general help to encourage youth to participate in games and activities. you must be 19+ to volunteer in this area.

Areas of need for Youth Programs:

Monday - Thursday 3 - 6pm, and Friday 3 - 9pm: General Help

Monday - Friday 5-6pm: Sports Component

Tuesday 6-9pm: Basketball

Thursday 6-9pm: Co-Ed Volleyball

Friday: 6 - 9pm: All Ages Basketball

Administration

We are currently seeking volunteers to help us out with our administrative needs.

Positions Available include:

Friday 11:30 - 1:30: Front Desk Coverage

Front Desk Supply Coverage

Data Entry

Graphic Design/Website Design

IT Help

Electrical/Plumbing/Maintenance Volunteers

Events

If you are unable to commit on a weekly basis, volunteering for an event would be perfect for you!
