Kerr Street Ministries (KSM) helps and gives hope to Oakville's most vulnerable citizens. Serving over 5,000 people, KSM provides holistic support and care particularly for children and youth and low income families.

MISSION STATEMENT
Following in the example of Jesus Christ, KSM is called to transform lives by serving people in Oakville living in economic, social and spiritual poverty. As a charitable Christian organization we acknowledge that every person is created in the image of God and has inherent value and dignity. We are committed to providing relief for the present and hope for the future.

Grow Together Community Gardens

GROW TOGETHER is a community gardens project for the purpose of providing a sustainable source of organic produce to our clients during the months where food stocks are typically low.  By planting and harvesting nutritious food, clients of KSM are now able to enjoy fresh produce more frequently. Community gardens also provide an opportunity for the community to actively engage by having both clients and volunteers working together on this project.  Grow Together is more than just a group of volunteers coming together to do something for those without, it is the opportunity for our clients to take control of something in their lives, contribute and give back by participating themselves!
 
Food Bank

If you haven't already picked up your KSM Food Bank Reusable Green Bag to take with you grocery shopping, please come by the office and pick one up today!

Food Bank Priority Needs:

  • Canned Fruit and Vegetables
  • Rice (brown & white)
  • Canola Oil
  • Healthy Cereal
  • Diapers (sizes 4, 5 & 6)
